So wanted to start deviantart over again, start focusing more on my own cosplays. Ok, so last weekend I went to a event with ~lunamaxwell (https://www.deviantart.com/lunamaxwell) , I was a voulenteer cosplayer and she was going as a Dalek driver. We had a good time on the saturday but sadly :iconLunaMaxwell: was ill and got worse during the night, meaning she didn't feel well enough to go on the saturday. I went to help our friend Chris out with his Dalek but I did not feel very welcome by some of the other people at the event. I met some amazing people but my day was ruined by a comment about my costume. Basically saying I don't look like John Barrowman (this was by one of the organisers). I understand if I had said that I was a John Barrowman look-a-like

Just a little rant about....Dun Dun Dun *pause for dramatic effect*... Elitists True sometimes I look at one of my costumes and think Why did I make that?! It looks terrible...but that's as far as my views will go, I judge my own costumes not others. When it comes to those not having the "right" body shape or not looking exactly like the character...Who cares? If we wanted to see the exact character we would just watch the show or play the game! Cosplay is a way of showing how much you love that character, to show your appreciation to the artists/actors etc... I admit I like a costume done well, but If I see an awesome Edward Elric cospla
